Street Cats of Vis : Helping People Help Cats

Mila is a cheeky girl who knows what she wants and what she doesn’t! She’s very gentle, and enjoys the company of other cats. She’s playful, but quiet. She may have further health problems due to her history and FIV status.

We first meet Mila while out collecting cats for sterlizing in Duboka. She was returned after sterilizing, but at the vet’s a few days later we met the people caring for her, who informed us that her wound had opened. The vet closed the wound again and Mila came to our cathouse to ensure a safe recovery. We gave her antibiotics and monitored her closely, however the wound opened yet again and she was rushed back to the vet on boxing day for further surgery. She slowly recovered, but later developed severe cat flu. After several different antibiotics and a lot of vet visits, she’s finally made a full recovery.

– date of birth: July 2023
– taken in on 20 December, 2023
– sterilized / vaccinated
– FIV positive
