Recent Achievements
-
In addition to our regular and ongoing TNR (trap, neuter, release) work, colony caretaking and cathouse care for the most vulnerable, we organized and carried out two bulk sterilizations of 20 cats each this year.
Current Goals
- School outreach: we’ve planted the seed for working with the Vis school on education regarding street cats and will be pursuing this in the fall.
- Cat colony census: we’ve created a census form and a map in order to begin identifying cat colonies and their caretakers all over the island, and to offer help as needed.
- Team building: we want to put more attention towards inspiring and cultivating people’s involvement in boots-on-the-ground cat work.
