Street Cats of Vis : Helping People Help Cats

Koffi lives at the Vis rubbish dump, the most extreme of the colonies we care for. He was surely abandoned, because when we met him at around six months old, he was relatively friendly, meaning he must have gotten some socializing as a kitten.

While he seems perfectly healthy, Koffi’s FIV status is unknown. We haven’t been able to take him indoors to see how he does using a litter box, but judging from how friendly he is, we think he’ll adapt just fine.

He’s used to having a large territory in which to roam, so if he’s FIV negative, we want his forever home to have plenty of safe outdoor space. If he’s FIV positive and can’t be free outdoors, we want him to at least have a large catio.

He enjoys attention without being overly needy, and gets along well with other cats. It may take time to win his trust, but once you do, you’ll really enjoy his gentle, interactive personality.

If you’re interested in giving this handsome and lovable boy a home, we’ll do all the necessary work to get him ready, including (of course) an FIV test, vaccines, and indoor socializing.

– date of birth: probably spring of 2022
– sterilized
– good with other cats
– indoor-outdoor
