Gizmo and Grace come from a litter of six kittens born in the summer of 2024 alongside a busy road. After one of her siblings was violently killed (by a dog, we think), we decided to take Grace in and give her a chance at a better life, since she was naturally friendly. And because kittens are better in pairs, we went back to find the next friendliest kitten, which was Gizmo.
While Grace is a natural flirt, climbing on you and purring non-stop, Gizmo is reticent and wary. He can be coaxed out of his shell by food and toys, and might someday even enjoy cuddles with humans, although it will probably take awhile. For now, he enjoys cuddling with his sister, and that’s just fine.
Thanks to help from Nordic Strays, Gizmo and Grace found a loving home in Germany where they’ll live happily ever after. Yay!
