Street Cats of Vis : Helping People Help Cats

Tux is one of Sister Mimi‘s last five kittens. We called this litter the panda crew because three of them looked like panda cubs at birth, with big spots covering their tiny ears. Unfortunately, only two of the five survived to adulthood.

Tux lives on our land and gets along ok with other cats, but has become a bit of a territorial loner over the years.

Since he’s used to having a large territory in which to roam, Tux needs a home with a big, safe garden, far away from cars and similar dangers. He likes attention and cuddles, but isn’t overly clingy. Careful, though: his favorite trick is to flop down in front of you as you walk, hoping for a belly rub.

In spite of his iconic glare in this very attitudinal photo, Tux is a well-balanced, happy and gentle cat.
